In Japan, when a serialized manga reaches a certain number of issues, as well as popularity, publishers will collect the released issues in volumes. These are called Tankobon, and they are your regular manga volumes that are then translated to several languages. Well it seems that The King Of Fighters: A New Beginning is no different as SNK and Kodansha have announced that the first volume of KOF: A New beginning Manga will be released in Japan on August 9th.
To celebrate this release, SNK and Shonen Sirius released the below promo art, drawn by SNK alumni artist Eisuke Ogura, announcing the release date:
