SNK fans are still in aw after watching that jaw dropping Samurai Shodown Gameplay Teaser trailer. The detailed animation, stunning visuals, and beautiful score were not the only thing that took us by surprise, but also the fact that the game will be playable at Pax east from March 28th to 31st.
A playable demo is not the only thing that Pax east attendees will be enjoying. It was revealed on the official Pax website, that SNk will be holding a Samurai shodown Panel on Saturday March 30th. the panel will be animated by game producer Yausyuki Oda, designer Nobuyuki Kuroki, and the first game’s producer Yasushihi Adashi, the main guy responsible for the birth of the entire franchise.
The panel will discuss how the team tackled relaunching a franchise that has been in hibernation for over a decade, and how are they modernizing the look and mechanics for it. The panel also promises an exclusive sneak peak at something new. Now before everyone thinks this has to do with a new character, i would go ahead and say probably not. While we will have new character announcement between now and Pax east, this something new, from what i am hearing is a new AI technology that will used for the first time in a fighting game.
