Even with Samurai Shodown developement in full swing, as well as work on the 2020 KOFXV, it is nice to see that SNK has not forgotten our beloved The King Of Fighters XIV. Few weeks after announcing that KOFXIV will be getting one last balance patch, the NeoGeo company has now revealed that the patch will be available for both PS4 and Steam on December 25th, just in time for Christmas!

Compared to previous KOF games, The King Of Fighters XIV is quite balanced with some exceptions. Many fans, and mainly esports players have complained that Najd, Shun’ei and Heidern are quite overpowered. We are assuming this latest patch will address these characters and hopefully also buffs some low tier fighters. SNK has yet to reveal the patch notes.
