It is the day we have been waiting for a long time! The King Of Fighters XIV has now been officially updated to Ver 3.0. This latest version brings a lot of changes and additions, including 4 new characters: Oswald, Heidern, Blue Mary and Najd., and a free new Saudi Arabia stage.

The update, which is 1.2GB in size, is currently only available in Asia, and is expected to hit Europe and North America any minute now. The prices for DLC characters are 600JPY each. If you decide to buy all the new characters you will get a 11% discount on the bundle (1920JPY)

The King Of Fighters XIV Ver 3.0 also brings to the table TONS of balance changes. Top characters like Benimaru and Iori has received some substantial nerfs. While some Mid-low tier characters have gotten some good buffs (like Shunei’ and Kim). SNK was also kind enough to introduce some new BGM that is triggered under special circumstances. For example, in a match with Kyo vs Iori, both wearing their classic costume will get you a remake of the famous Esaka BGM from the Orochi era games. Below are some of these newly found BGM’s:
