The King Of Fighters Destiny Mobile game by Tencent, is currently having its final Public closed Beta. I have been spending the last couple of days playing this little gem, and while i struglle with the various options and menus (since they are all in Chinese) i found myself today unlocking an unexpected mode: 3 Vs 3 Online Death match!

this mode allows you to join two other players to form a team of 3, and then battle it our against another team. The mode is basically a detachment, where all the characters are on screen at the same time. The point of the game is to destroy the other team’s Black Crystal scrambler (the same one seen in the KOF Destiny anime that caused the heroes to be brainwashed), while protecting your own. So it is a mixture of team death match and base defense mechanics you usually see in FPS games. If no base has been destroyed, the team with the most kills takes the match. the mode is also very generous when it comes to the EXP you gained, so it is quite a fun way to level up your character.

If you are still not hyped about this mode, i went ahead and recorded a full match, as well as two example of mini games, the first one where you get to fight a giant teddy bear with minion teddies (yes you read that correctly) and the second is a ladder survival mode of sort. Enjoy!
