Responsibilities include:
Direct all programs, policies, and practices to ensure all business units are in compliance with operational and reporting requirements
Oversee the submission and approval of all marketing, packaging, and labeling materials with the appropriate department
Lead the charge for compliance within our facilities on a daily basis
Fully understand and implement all state regulations, including modifications as regulations change and update
Oversee of weekly, monthly, and annual reports, documents for internal and external purposes
Develop and maintain a compliance calendar
Build and maintain a comprehensive, multi-state, compliance program
Qualifications:
7 - 10 years experience in a compliance, managerial role
Law degree preferred
Knowledge of State of Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program rules and regulations
Willing to confront difficult issues and challenge others when necessary.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to identify, solve, and prevent compliance issues
Ability to communicate and escalate issues to management clearly and effectively

This role will oversee a high volume of retail facilities and work alongside various operations team to ensure compliance.Must have experience in cannabis compliance
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
Helps prepare for facility inspections, government regulatory investigations, and external audits.
Reviews government investigation findings and assists with preparing and implementing corrective action plans.
Drafts official communications and assists with responses to government agencies and other regulatory bodies.
Creates and implements standard operating procedures, internal processes, and compliance training for retail dispensaries.
Partners with retail operational leads at dispensary facilities across the nation to ensure compliant procedures are followed.

Develops internal audit procedures for all business entities in various states and localities.
