I am a champion of the Vapor X, and I can't believe how badly the majority of reviews seem to bash them. It feels like it has better ventilation compared to the Barricades and I think this is due to the tongue and the lace eyelets which allow a bit of air through to help with the breathability.The cons: I have issues with stability in the shoe. The soles of the X look great for both hard and clay court play. Its design is built with the support and stability you need for a run from 800 to 5,000 meters. Maybe I will have to start looking at more expensive models. The shoe is more neon red than red which I actually like. These are a terrible disappointment. The X is more narrow, much stiffer and significantly less comfortable and responsive than the previous iteration. 35 years old been doing this since 15.
