They issued a statement about the problem saying:
About the latest KOF XIV 1.10 patch.
There is an issue where the game will consider the player to have disconnected from an online battle if they change the display settings for “Icon”, “Title” or “Rank Match Fight Record” on “MY PROFILE” screen.
We are currently looking into it and hope to have a fix as soon as possible.
Because this will affect win rates and disconnect penalties, please refrain from making any changes on the “MY PROFILE” screen.
We are also investigating into any other issues with this patch and will notify everyone once our investigation is complete.
We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your patience as we prepare another patch to solve these issues.
So, whatever you do, stay away from MY PROFILE! This KOF XIV 1.10 patch issue spoiled a bit all the hype and excitement we had about the patch. We hope everything will be sorted out quickly and that we will enjoy the game without any interruptions. Let us remind you that KOF XIV 1.10 patch made the game visually more attractive and even brought support for PS4 Pro along with fixing some minor bugs. Don’t forget to head out to PS store and to pick up your Athena DLC costume and KOF XIV PS4 themes while they are still free. After a month, you’ll have to pay them, so be quick.
