Arcade attack has the chance to sit down and interview SNK producer Yasuyuki Oda. Oda san was the producer of The King Of Fighters XIV, as well as the upcoming Samurai Shodown game, among other titles.

While the interview does not offer any major reveal in terms of what the future hold for SNK, a prticular answer from Oda san gave us hint at how SNK is hoping to reach more audeinces.

When asked about his ambitions and those of SNK for the future, Oda san revealed that they would like to work on massive AAA titles, he then went on to add the following tidbit: “want to expand our SNK IP to the world with not only game but also anime, manga, toys and more.” This definitely should fans of Anime and SNK title happy. This also is quite apparant form SNK’s recent cross media projetcs, which started with, the now on hiatus, The King Of Fighters Destiny CGI anime, and followed with The King Of Fighters: A New Beginning Manga, as we as the recently announced World Heroes Manga. It is also been announced last April, that both an anime series and manga for Samurai Shodown is in developement.
